Hmmm, 13 Reasons Why writers, you're going to have to explain this one.

13 Reasons Why season 2 left us with a lot of unanswered questions. Obviously a TON of information had to be retroactively incorporated into the characters' storylines for the second season, but 13 RW writers have seemingly forgotten to address one huge plot inconsistency.

How is it possible that Justin didn't know about the The Clubhouse?

Let's break this down, shall we?

Justin and Bryce were best friends. Like, BEST friends. It's explained in season one that Bryce's family even bought clothes for Justin. They were that close.

There was even a flashback of the two from when they were kids to drive the point home that they have been close for a while.

However, in 13 Reasons Why season 2, when discovering more about The Clubhouse, Justin seemingly has no idea that it exists.

How can this be? Justin and Bryce partied together, played sports together, and were among the two most popular figures at Liberty High school.

Ask yourself this one thing. If YOUR bestie had a weird secret hide out that they'd apparently been going to "for years", wouldn't they tell you about it?

Even Marcus, who was nowhere as close to Bryce as Justin was, knew the exact location of the Clubhouse and the risks associated with its discovery.

If writers thought fans wouldn't notice this glaring plot hole, they were definitely wrong.

So, what's really going on with Justin not noticing his best friend was running a whole entire sex den?

We're guessing the writers REALLY wanted us to suspend our disbelief for this one. It doesn't make a ton of sense but Justin couldn't exactly have his much needed season 2 redemption arc if he was complicit in all of Bryce's shenanigans.

There ya go, folks. It doesn't make sense but that's plot holes for you.
