’AHS: Apocalypse’ Adds Cody Fern As Grown-Up Michael Langdon From ‘Murder House’

Cody Fern will be joining the cast as the grown up version of Vivien Harmon and Tate Langdon's son Michael in 'AHS: Apocalypse'.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse just added a VERY IMPORTANT character to its roster and it's just opened up a whole new level of insanity for what the eighth season might hold.
Remember Michael Langdon? The creepy blonde kid from Murder House? The son of Vivien Harmon and Tate Langdon? THE ANTI-CHRIST? Well, it looks like he'll have something to do with the apocalypse because a grown up version of the character has just been cast alongside Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and co.
Australian actor Cody Fern has been cast as the grown up version of Michael and he looks absolutely perfect for the role.
If you think Cody looks familiar to you, that's because he probably is. Cody has already been a part of one of Ryan Murphy's TV masterpieces; he played the role of David Madson in American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace. He was also in the 2017 film The Tribes of Palos Verdes alongside Maika Monroe and Jennifer Garner.
He's also set to have a recurring role on the sixth and finale season of House of Cards opposite Robin Wright. No details about his character have been released yet.
Late last year, Ryan Murphy revealed that the premise of the crossover would involve a character from Murder House being thrust into the world of Coven.
Given that there was only a handful of characters still alive at the end of the season, many fans speculated that it would be Michael Langdon who the show would focus on. And well, we guess it looks like we might be right after all. (It's not been confirmed how heavily his character will feature in the new season, however.)
But there is one pretty big plot hole that fans are now freaking out over: Michael was born in 2012. If Murphy's statement about this season being set in late 2019 still rings true, Michael should be around 7 or 8 years old. Does the casting of a much older actor in the role hint at a pretty big time-jump within the season? Or does the anti-christ just age much faster than normal children? There is a big "plot twist" rumoured to be happening in the fifth episode of the season, after all... maybe it's all got something to do with that.
