Elite will reportedly follow a similar format to Skins with a revolving main cast every few seasons.

Elite season 3 isn't even out yet but Netflix is reportedly already working on season 4 and it looks like it will be very different.

Ever since Netflix released the first season of Elite in 2018, we've been obsessed with it. As soon as the show starts, we find out that a student (Marina) at the Spanish high school Las Encinas has been killed and the series then evolves into a murder mystery. Season 2 adds to the drama by focusing on the wrongful arrest of Nano and adds three new students to the mix.

Thankfully, we don't have to wait long at all to get our next Elite fix. Season 3 is set to come out on Netflix in March this year (yes, that's in less than two months). However, season 3 is reportedly the last time we will see the original cast together.

Who will be in the Elite cast in season 4?

Last week (Jan 20), Bluper reported that Elite season 4 and Elite season 5 are already in production at Netflix and now we've got even more news about the future of the teen drama. According to Spanish news site Fuera de Series, Elite season 3 will be the final season with the main cast and season 4 will have a whole new cast and mystery similar to the hit British series Skins.

In other words, this season could be the last time we see Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau), Lu (Danna Paola), Polo (Álvaro Rico), Carla (Ester Expósito), Nadia (Mina El Hammani), Ander (Arón Piper), Omar (Omar Shana), Nano (Jaime Lorente), Christian (Miguel Herrán), Rebeca (Claudia Salas), Valerio (Jorge López) and Cayetana (Georgina Amorós) on screen together.

No. I'm not crying. You are.

It's currently unclear if Elite seasons 4 and 5 will still be set at Las Encinas or at a completely different school.

What do you think? Could Elite work with a new cast?
