From the show's new narrator to the timestamp theory, here's what might be coming in season 2.

1. Did Tyler Down shoot Alex Standall?
We don’t know much about season 2 but, thanks to Miles Heizer, we definitely know that Tyler did not shoot Alex. The star debunked that popular theory that he had not actually attempted suicide but had been targeted by Tyler Down. "People attempting to take their lives and it not happening, I'm sure that will bring a crazy set of issues. It would be interesting to go into that," Heizer told the Hollywood Reporter.

2. Will there be a school shooting in 13 Reasons Why season 2?
Things seem to be all set up for a season 2 shooting storyline. Tyler Down is seen to be armed and slinking around plotting something in the final episode of season 1. Considering most of Tyler’s issues come from his poor interactions with the kids at his school, it’s a safe bet that Tyler will make an attempt at a school shooting.

3. Will season 2 of 13 Reasons Why start on November 10?
November 10 has become somewhat of an important date in the 13 Reasons Why universe. Firstly, it ties into the deposition timestamp theory as well as a song played during Hannah and Clay’s kiss scene. Season 2 may pick up from November 10, 2017, but the new episodes will not hit Netflix until 2018.

4. Will 13 Reasons Why season 2 be about Alex?
When we last saw Alex, he was fighting for his life in the back of an ambulance. Because of that, we can almost expect that season 2 will focus heavily on the character of Alex Standall. Whether he lives or dies, he will almost certainly take Hannah’s place as a main focal point of season 2.

5. Will Bryce Walker go to jail?
Don’t bet on Bryce seeing the inside of a jail cell anytime soon. He is rich, after all. One reddit user, tamara1781, shared her own theory. “I have a feeling this story will just mirror reality. My guess is that Bryce either will serve a very short time, or none at all.”

6. Who will be the narrator of 13 Reasons Why season 2?
Netflix confirmed that 13 Reasons Why will have a new narrator. Jessica has, arguably, the most traumatic story outside of Hannah. Her connection with Hannah and Alex could set her up as season 2’s narrator. On the flip side, if Tyler’s shooting plot comes to fruition, there is a very good chance he could actually be the show’s next narrator.

7. Could 13 Reasons Why season 2 become a spin-off series?
Some fans think that that “13 Reasons Why” wouldn’t make sense in a second season format so there could be a case for splintering a new series off with a new name and focus. However, as 13 Reasons Why has achieved so much success, it’s unlikely that any major changes to the show’s brand would occur.

8. Will Jay Asher be a part of 13 Reasons Why season 2?
Because there is no source material for a second part of this story, the show’s producers will have to iron out how and even if they will involve the story’s author in season 2. After the announcement that Netflix had picked up 13 Reasons Why for a second season, Asher tweeted that he had confidence in Brian Yorkey, a writer/executive producer on the show. Some see that as Asher distancing himself from season 2, but nothing has been confirmed.
