Get some insider AHS info

AHS star, Quicksilver and Michael's Nephew in Season 7 of The Office (look it up!) Evan Peters sat down with Chris Hardwick for this week's Nerdist podcast for a full 1hr long interview. Here are a few of the details we discovered.

1) He Hated Horror Before AHS

"I was always freaked out by it....then i got the work and i just ended up falling in love with making horror, like all the blood and the scariness and the crying and all that stuff, it's really fun and challenging work but also it makes you appreciate scary movies so much more....it's opened up my eyes to the genre more. I like halloween more now and dressing up and really appreciate people who go out with the costumes."

2) He Doesn't Know What Happens To Him On AHS Until It Happens

"You basically get four episodes before you start, you get to like figure out what you're doing...then you're basically going through the story as you're given it. We're reading the scripts thinking 'oh my god, what the hell happens next? what do i have to do next? This is insane!' Then you read it and realise, ya know, you're in a gangbang with blood everywhere."

3) He Didn't Get To Have Fun At Comic Con

"It was massive...I was there like 1 and a 1/2 days then flew out again so I really don't get to enjoy it or walk around or anything, you just kinda get to go out there and answer one question."

4) He Doesn't Like Big Parties

"What's the right amount to drink? You don't wanna get too sloppy but you wanna have a good time. Also, when you look across the room and you connect eyes with somebody that you know and it's too hard to get over there, that's the worst part of the whole thing. I dunno, I don't really go to that many of those parties."

5) He's Not Great On Social Media

"I'm just so f*cking bad at it. Honestly, I'm terrible at it. I can't figure out what to write, what to post, what to put up....I just don't know how to do it....get your happiness from life, not from likes"

6) He Wants To Try Directing

"I gotta do it man...I'm gonna start with a short..I think that's step one of this whole process. Probably comedy, comedy's so much more fun to shoot. I think maybe start there then maybe go into a drama, i don't know....I feel pretty strongly that i could make some interesting choices and try to be different with it but I dunno, I'll have to do it first and then you can decide if it's sh*t."

7) But He Won't Start Writing Just Yet

"I would love to its so f*cking hard though...I could maybe brainstorm or spitball but I dunno if I could actually sit down and write anything".
