Devon studied at Lynwood Senior High School in Perth as well as Edith Cowan University, specialising in drama education. Honing his skills as an actor, Devon also graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2013. Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Miranda Otto and Baz Lurhmann are amongst the notable alumni.
