HBO's newest teen drama 'Euphoria' is set to hit screens soon. Zendaya will star and Drake takes on executive producer duties, but what can fans expect from the show? Here's all the 'Euphoria' news you need to know before the series premiere.

HBO has ordered the Drake produced high school drama Euphoria. The series, based on an Israeli show of the same name, will be 10 episodes long and feature rising stars like Zendaya, Maude Apatow, and Jacob Elordi. So, what can fans expect from the show? Here's everything you need to know about HBO's Euphoria.

'Euphoria' HBO release date

On Monday July 30, it was announced that HBO had officially ordered the series.

Euphoria does not yet have a release date on HBO. Euphoria is currently in development and this article will be updated as more information becomes available.

HBO Euphoria teasers and Trailers

On the same day HBO announced that it had ordered Euphoria, Zendaya shared a short teaser for the series.

Zendaya simply captioned the post "Euphoria. Coming soon @champagnepapi" @hbo @a24". Champagnepapi is Drake's Instagram username and a24 (Hereditary, 2 Dope Queesns) is the studio producing the series in partnership with HBO.

There will likely be other trailers to come. Zendaya indicated that the series was coming soon, so we will likely have a lengthier trailer at the tail end of summer or the start of Autumn.

Plot - What is the Drake produced drama 'Euphoria' about?

Euphoria follows high school students as they handle the politics of "drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship." HBO notes that the new series has been described as Kids meets Trainspotting. This sounds...ambitious, to say the least.

Drake is, of course, no stranger to teenage television dramas. The Canadian rapper starred in Degrassi: The Next Generation in his younger days and has made no secret of being a fan of dramas like Top Boy and Stranger Things. Drake's manager, Future The Prince, has also joined the project as an executive producer.

As previously mentioned, Euphoria is based on a 2012 Israeli show of the same name and will bring on many of the show's original creators as producers.

'Euphoria' HBO Cast

Euphoria has already announced a wealth of rising stars for the teen drama. Zendaya leads the cast and will be joined by The Kissing Booth star Jacob Elordi.
