8. Nicola Coughlan plays Clare Devlin in Derry Girls
Nicola Coughlan played Clare Devlin in Derry Girls. The Channel 4 series is set during the Troubles in the 1990s in Derry, Northern Ireland, and centres on a group of Catholic teens and their families. The show was renewed for a third and final season in 2020, but filming was put on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. There's no season 3 release date yet, but fans predict the show will air around Spring/Summer 2022. [Channel 4]
