10 Lip Sync Battle Songs For RuPaul’s Drag Race This Season

Shantay, you stay.
As any good RuPaul fan will know, tonight (7 March) marks the start of the latest season of Drag Race, and it's got us feeling like...
Our favourite moments always come from the lip sync battle. The outfits, the tension, the dancing, EVERYTHING. But, also, the music.
Ru has great taste in music and needs no help, but we thought we'd offer some suggestions anyway. No tea, no shade, just a helping hand. Let us know what you think of our picks!
And remember, gurl, don't f*ck it up.
1) Scissor Sisters - "Let's Have A Kiki"
SRSLY how has this song not already been used?! We're gonna serve and work and turn and h-h-honey.
2) Tinashe - "All Hands on Deck"
This banger has got the bouncy, campy R'n'B elements of lip sync faves by the like Paula Abdul or Michel'Le that go down well with Ru. Give Tinashe a chance, won't cha gurl?
3) Alaska Thunderfuck - "Your Makeup Is Terrible"
To our knowledge, no songs written or performed by ex-Drag Race contestants have ever soundtracked a lip sync battle. In our humble (and correct) opinion, Alaska's material far-out strips most of the other queens, making her the most worthy candidate. The lyrics could also inspire some creative shady dance moves.
4) Shamir - "On The Regular"
This is a ratchet anthem. No doubt about it. We can already feel the ass-smashing death drops landing to this.
5) Nelly Furtado - "Maneater"
Do we really need to give a reason for this? C'mon. SLAY ME, NELLY. SLAY ME.
6) The Weeknd - "In The Night"
Basically any Weeknd song that isn't "Can't Feel My Face" #SorryNotSorry.
7) Demi Lovato - "Cool For The Summer"
It's a song about going bi for a summer by Demi Lovato, ffs. It's literally perfect for it. Demi's music has also featured twice before as well as her appearance as a guest judge last season, so we're guessing this is a shoo-in.
8) Selena Gomez - "Hands To Myself"
RuPaul has used at least one Selena song before ("Shake It Up") but this track has got to be the most lip sync worthy slut-bop yet from our gal Selena.
9) Mariah Carey - "Thirsty"
No tea, no shade, but ya'll know there's gonna be one or two thirsty bitches on the show. Also, prime advertising potential for the show's sponsor. More importantly: LET'S HAVE MARIAH AS A GUST JUDGE, YEAH?!?
10) Rihanna - "Work"
Bonus points if they mash this up with RuPaul's "Cover Girl".
