Seasons: 3. It was cancelled in June 2015 but it's great reviews and devoted fandom make it worthy of a binge-watch.
For those that like: Blood, blood, gore, more blood and more gore. But also, really REALLY visually stunning cinematography.

Hemlock Grove, Netflix

Plot: Netflix Original Series based on a novel of the same name. Hemlock Grove is a fictional town in Pennsylvania where rumours about brutal murders are causing a bit of a stir. Two unlikely forces unite to solve the mystery but one of them is hiding a secret. Shhh!
Seasons: 3. And they're all available on Netflix.
For those that like: Gothic vibes, witty remarks, werewolves - which is something AHS has not yet served up on a platter.

Scream Queens, FX

Seasons: 1. Currently awaiting renewal - we'll flip a table if it doesn't get a second season!
For those that like: Ryan Murphy's work and sassy Mean Girls dialogue. Oh, and blood.

Dexter, Showtime

Plot: Dexter, a guy with homicidal tendencies, channels his gruesome passion for killing in a "constructive" way - by only killing criminals... e.g. assassins, child molesters, rapists and serial killers who have slipped through the justice system.
Seasons: 8. It's off air now but it was a bloody thrill. Literally.
For those that like: Lovers of the Ten Commandments Killer storyline in Hotel, and supporters of James March's penchant for blood. Mrs Evers would definitely watch this show. #FreshSheets!

Carnivale, HBO

Plot: A series set in the States during the Great Depression and the Dustbowl. The story depicts the battle between good vs. evil and free will vs. destiny featuring a, you guessed it... travelling carnival.
Seasons: 2. It was cut short by HBO due to low ratings but won a ton of Emmys and a loyal fanbase.
For those that like: AHS: Freak Show mashed up with Twin Peaks. Straight up.

Twin Peaks, ABC

Plot: Twin Peaks follows an investigation headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer. We'll say no more.
Seasons: 2. But it's making a comeback for 2017 so stay tuned!
For those that like: Small town mysteries and brooding detectives, just like Wes Bentley.

Sleepy Hollow, FOX

Plot: Season one explores Ichabod Crane’s life as he finds himself taken from his life in 1781 and thrown into the 21st century. He wakes up in a town called Sleepy Hollow and teams up with the Sheriff’s Department after the Headless Horseman beheads the Sheriff. LOL WUT.

Supernatural, The CW

Seasons: 11. You might need an entire Summer for this one.
For those that like: Things that are... not natural. (Also, if you've been watching this since 2005 then just start a rewatch or something.)
