Since it premiered on NBC in September 2016, This Is Us has been breaking hearts. The series, about the lives of two parents and their three children, has been nominated for a ton of awards. The family drama, whose second season just ended in the US, explores multiple timelines through flashbacks as it explores the lives of the family.
In the second season we finally saw how Jack dies (death by crockpot) which raised a lot of questions for fans – how will the series continue? When can we watch more of it? When will the trailer be out?

Is season 3 confirmed?
Yes. Just four months after season one premiered, NBC renewed the series for not one but two entire additional seasons – both of 18 episodes each.
When will season 3 be released?
Season 1 of This Is Us premiered on September 27, 2016 in the US while season 2 was released on September 26, 2017. Unless there are major delays, we can likely expect season 3 in late September 2018 – so we only have five months to wait.
Who will star in This Is Us season 3?
It looks currently like the entire cast will be returning for season 3. That means Mandy Moore as Rebecca Pearson, Sterling K Brown as Randall Pearson, Chrissy Metz as Kate Pearson and Justin Hartley as Kevin Pearson will all return – as well as everyone else, including the actors who play the main cast in flashbacks.
What will This Is Us season 3 be about?
Reportedly, Rebecca's relationship with Jack's best friend Miguel after his death will be a big focus of the season. Fans are also concerned that Randall will die in season 3, but creator Dan Fogelman told EW that "we're not killing Randall this season, so everybody can relax".
Will Milo Ventimiglia be back as Jack for season 3?
The good thing about This Is Us is that, despite characters tragically dying every so often, they absolutely can come back. The timelines mean that death isn’t necessarily the end – Ron Cephas returned as Randall’s biological father in season two after his death in the first. So, hopefully, despite dying, Milo Ventimiglia will return as Jack Pearson.
When will the This Is Us season 3 trailer drop?
The trailer for season 3 was released during NBC’s upfronts presentation in May 2017, so the third will potentially be released at this year’s.
When will This Is Us air in the UK?
Channel 4 airs This Is Us in the UK and reportedly will be airing season 2 in late spring, which means we won’t get to see 3 in the UK until at least spring 2019.
