Chris Carmack, from The OC and Nashville, is joining the cast as a brand new doctor.

Grey's Anatomy is about to return to our screens for a FIFTEENTH season and they're treating us to a brand new hot doctor to celebrate. In the wake of the departure of both Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins) and Sarah Drew (April Kepner), Chris Carmack will be joining the cast as a brand new surgeon who is sure to spice up, stir up and create all kinds of new drama.

You'll probably recognise Carmack as Luke Ward in The OC and of course, just finished a run as Will Lexington on Nashville.

Carmack will be joining the cast as a recurring cast member on season fifteen. He will play an orthopedic surgeon who comes to work at Grey Sloan Memorial and we think he might fit in quite nicely amongst the likes of Karev and Avery, if we do say so ourselves.

There was ONE small issue, however, that fans had after reading the description of his character. While his name hasn't been announced yet, it was revealed that Carmack's new doc is known as an "Ortho God" which super weird because... Callie Torres, the original Ortho God is still alive and breathing.

Ok, fine - we'll allow it, welcome to Grey Sloan new Ortho doc.

But just know that there can only be ONE Ortho God(dess) in the game and she goes by the name of Calliope. And that's that on that x
