The internet is truly shook.

Love Island returned to our screens last night (June 4) and we're practically frothing at the mouth at all the relationships and inevitable breaks up we're about to witness this summer. But one of the new Islanders is already causing a stir - not for their antics in at the villa but because of their age.

Adam Collard, the sixth boy to enter the villa, had already thrown a spanner in the works when host Caroline Flack revealed that he would be splitting up one of the couples in the next 24 hours. But viewers were absolutely gagged to learn that Adam is in fact 22-years-old.

Now, we don't want to drag Adam. He's a very handsome man and he doesn't look that old but he definitely looks older than 22. Viewers on Twitter weren't quite as delicate with their thoughts and feelings.

One word: ouch!

Oh lord.

He does not look 40 but this could very well be a catfish situation.

This is a case for the FBI.

People are convinced that Adam and/or the producers are lying about his age and you cannot convince them otherwise.

I mean, are we sure the producers checked his passport before he boarded the plane?

So, how old are the rest of the Islanders? We put together a list of the contestant in age order - from youngest to oldest - in case you were wondering.
