It's hard to imagine life before Love Island 2018 now. Three weeks in and it's safe to say that it's become the standout show of the summer. We cannot get over the drama (Adam and everyone he couples up with), romance (Jack and Dani are literally the sweetest two human beings on planet earth) and general hilarious shenanigans (all of the challenges).

Last night (June 24) Twitter was set into a frenzy when the teaser for the next episode aired. After weeks of being in a platonic couple with Samira, Alex has recently coupled up with his first potential love interest Ellie. At first it seemed like, she genuinely liked him. However, in the new clip it has become apparent that Ellie is not interested in Alex romantically.
Unsurprisingly Alex fans across the nation are outraged. They were all rooting for the A&E doctor to find love and it looks like he is going to have to wait a little longer. That's not all though. Many Love Island viewers were keen to point out that Samira literally warned Alex that she didn't trust Ellie and received flack for it. People thought that she was just worried about securing her place in the villa instead of genuinely concerned for her friend.
