Love Island's Sophie Gradon has reportedly died at the age of 32.

The news was confirmed by her boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, along with her friends and family confirmed via Sophie’s personal Facebook account that she had passed away.

Armstrong shared a photo of the two of them together with the caption: "I will never forget that smile I love you so so much baby your my world forever ever and always"

Northumbria Police said: "At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner."

Sophie was a contestant on the second series of Love Island UK. She coupled up and found love with Tom Powell on the first day and later became one half of the first same-sex coupling on the show with Katie Salmon.

Tributes have poured in from her friends and family, including Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan, her fellow Love Island 2016 contestant Olivia Buckland and other Love Island contestants.
