Season two of the popular true crime documentary is coming to Netflix.

Good news for everyone who spent the past 3 years talking, theorising and losing their minds over Netflix's documentary series Making A Murderer... it's finally returning to the streaming service with 10 brand new episodes.

Yes, Netflix have just announced that the second part of the Emmy-winning series will premiere on October 19 and will pick back up with the story of the incarcerated Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey, who was sentenced to life imprisonment after confessing to assisting him with the murder of 25 year-old photographer Teresa Halbech.

“Steven and Brendan, their families and their legal and investigative teams have once again graciously granted us access, giving us a window into the complex web of American criminal justice,” Ricciardi and Demos. “Building on Part 1, which documented the experience of the accused, in Part 2, we have chronicled the experience of the convicted and imprisoned, two men each serving life sentences for crimes they maintain they did not commit. We are thrilled to be able to share this new phase of the journey with viewers.”

Part two will introduce viewers to some new faces; Kathleen Zellner, Avery’s post-conviction lawyer, as well as Dassey’s post-conviction lawyers Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin with Northwestern University’s Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth.

Making A Murderer Part 2 arrives on Netflix on October 19.
