Could it hold the key to one of the show's biggest mysteries?

By now, you're probably aware that the minds behind 13 Reasons Why are huge fans of easter eggs. Not literal ones. Just the type that force you to create a conspiracy board and re-watch the series like 10 times.

Subtle clues in the show have led to big fan theories. Some eagle eyed spectators have spotted one huge clue in the Clay/Hannah kiss scene that ties to another big fan theory.

Let's unpack. (Spoilers ahead etc etc).

In Hannah and Clay's big (almost) hook up scene at Jessica's party, a song starts to play when the two kiss. It's a sweet scene about the future that Clay and Hannah could have had. It's also a big emotional moment in the show.

Fast forward to 1:38 for the song.

That song is a melancholy ballad by Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam called "1000 Times" which has the following lyrics:

Now! If you've been paying attention, you'll know that November 10th is actually a significant date in the 13 Reasons Why universe.

It's the start date of Hannah's depositions. The kids are subpoenaed to speak on what they know about Hannah, bullying, and the school. In the recordings we can see the deposition date as November 10.

We've written a little bit about the theory of why Hannah's depositions take place in the future, but this adds a whole new layer of intrigue to the mix.

Considering how deliberate we know the creators of 13 Reasons Why can be, this seems anything but coincidental.

If you're shook and you know it, raise your hand.

At this point, we're not sure of anything. What is the significance of November 10? Is this something that will be explored in a potential season 2? Truly and honestly, we are stumped.
