Will Agents of SHIELD be cancelled after season 7? It's looking that way following recent remarks from Clark Gregg.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. could likely end after season 7, according to Clark Gregg. Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson on the show, hinted that season 7 would be that last for Agents of SHIELD during a recent interview with KTLA 5.

In the interview, Clark says: "We just started shooting the seventh and final season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Culver City and it's been an incredible ride."

Though ABC has not yet confirmed whether the show will end after season 7, Gregg made similar remarks in another interview with Den Of Geek during a press junket. “The announcement I read was, two more seasons, six and seven," the star said.

As Clark Gregg mentioned, season 7 is already in production so fans still have a ways to go before they need to say their goodbyes to the crew.

Though fans will find it hard to say goodbye to the series, many are commending AoS on a strong 7 season showing.

7 seasons is no joke and fans should be proud of the show's incredible run.

Meanwhile, despite being initially slated for a summer 2019 premiere, Agents of SHIELD season 6 is coming to fans in May 2019.
