'Riverdale' Is Being Turned Into A Bollywood Movie Musical

An all-Indian cast will front the latest adaptation of the classic Archie comics series.
Following the recent huge success of The CW's Riverdale series, the classic comic characters from the world of Archie will be heading to Bollywood in a new musical, movie adaptation.
Variety reports that the film will feature an all Indian cast with all your fave elements from the comic series in what producers are calling "the first international comic to be translated for Indian screens".

Archie comics and Graphic India have partnered on the project, with Archie Comic CEO Jon Goldwater calling it "a major moment for Archie and it's fans around the world." Sharad Devarajan, co-founder and CEO of Graphic India, adds that "Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead have been a source of inspiration for numerous Bollywood films over the years, and now it’s time to take them fully into Bollywood in an exciting new twist of a story that we have planned."
Archie Comics are published in over 17 languages in more than 55 countries, selling over 2 billion copies worldwide. In addition to this new movie project, the company are also currently working on the upcoming Sabrina reboot on Netflix alongside Riverdale's second season which continues on The CW.
