This is actually WILD.

It's got to be every internet-dweller's worst nightmare - someone gets hold of all your personal messages and pictures, and then publishes them on the web. Ngl we'd have a breakdown, move to Siberia, never to be seen again.

Well that nightmare becomes a reality in the trailer for Assassination Nation and it looks absolutely mad. Like, actually fucking nuts.

Oh. my. god.

The film, which features several of our fave actors (Suki Waterhouse, Hari Nef, Bella Thorne, Bill Skarsgård, Maude Apatow and loads more), follows Lily, played by Odessa Young, and her friends who spend most of their time in a haze of social media and partying until their hometown of Salem is targeted in a malicious data hack. All privacy is destroyed and lives are ruined as deadly secrets are exposed. From the looks of it, the town goes completely ape-shit.

It looks like Spring Breakers meets Gossip Girl meets The Purge and we're living for it. And we're not the only ones.

Assassination Nation is out September 21st in the US and November in the UK.
