Bella Thorne just tried a pretty disgusting hair hack and fans are divided

Bella shared a video of her sister washing her hair with something other than shampoo.
Bella Thorne is best known for being one of the busiest young stars in Hollywood. The actress, model, and musician always has something in the pipeline, but she can also be counted on for an eccentric beauty moment from time to time. Recently, the star shared a beauty hack on Instagram and, while it may sound disgusting, plenty of fans are backing her up.
In a recent Instagram video, Bella's sister Dani can be seen washing the actress' hair with an amber coloured liquid from a clear plastic cup. In the caption of the post, Bella explains that they are washing her hair with beer and that "people say it’s good for u".
"For everyone harassing yes it’s beer. It naturally lightens ur hair and people say it’s good for u. my next film my hair has to be hunny blonde, saving me a trip to the salon." Bella has been rocking slightly darker hair since mid-February. Before that, she had her signature red tresses.
Though it may sound disgusting, plenty of fans backed up her claims in the comments.
"I use beer as a rinse in the shower sometimes if I have any left undrunk. It makes your hair super shiny!" wrote one fan. Others also suggested lemon juice as a natural lightener.
Bella says that she discusses "tips and tricks" like this in her new book, The Life of a Wannabe Mogul.
While some fans did back up her beer rinse claims, others were a little bit skeptical.

Either way, who doesn't love a beauty hack to test? Although, we'd definitely jump in the shower after trying this out because the smell of beer is pretty strong.
