This looks major...

It's no secret that the hype for Captain Marvel is major. Fans of the beloved Marvel Comics character Carol Denvers (Captain Marvel) have been waiting for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to add her to their record-breaking film franchise for years. The highly anticipated film isn't coming out until March 8th 2019 but fans are already excited to see it. Will they do justice to the iconic comic book character? How will the movie fit in with the rest of the MCU? Will Carol Denvers help save the world from Thanos in the next Avengers film? Thankfully, people don't have to wait any longer to get a glimpse of the feature. The first trailer dropped today.

Amazing, right? The teaser doesn't give away anything too significant but, from the outfits to the witty one-liners, it's enough to send us into meltdown. From the hidden easter eggs (we're analysing every single frame) to the beauty and wonder of it all, it's magical from start to finish. It's early days still but it looks like Larson is going to be incredible.

Unsurprisingly, the internet is shook too. Here are just a few of the early reactions.

Some are living for that moving title transition.

.

Captain Marvel isn't playing.

Others can't get over how important this film is going to be for young girls.

.

We already wish that we could have grown-up with this film.

Then there are those who are excited by how loyal to the comics the adaptation seems to be.

.

It's the details that matter.

Not to mention, how strong Captain Marvel looks.

.

We detect no lies.

Thanos is screwed.

.

The world is safe again.

And last but not least people can't get over Carol hitting that old lady.

.

If you know, you know.

Bring on March 2019.
