You haven't lived until you've seen Judi Dench's real human hand - and wedding ring - on display in this movie.

After all the savage memes and negative reviews, never did we think that the star-studded, big screen adaptation of Cats would be brought tumbling down by Dame Judi Dench's human hand.

As you may have seen by now, Cats hasn't exactly had the most favourable of reviews. It's currently sitting at 18% on Rotten Tomatoes and a sad 32 on Metacritic.

But despite the fact that the finished film is already in cinemas and is being watched by...some people, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Universal will be sending out updated versions of the film, with "some improved visual effects".

And by all accounts, it sounds like they are needed. There have been multiple reports from people who have already seen the film, saying that visual effects were missing from their screenings, and now, one very specific moment has gone viral... Judi Dench's human hand.

As we saw in the first trailer, the cats in the film actually do have human faces and human hands, which is alarming but nothing new ahead of the official release.

However, in one shot of the final edit, Judi Dench's human hand (with her real life wedding ring on display) can be seen clear as day, poking out of her fur coat. A tweet showing an image of what looks like Rebel Wilson's fur bodysuit sleeve can also be seen. The effects are presumably meant to seamlessly streamline the fur into the hands.

Some Twitter users have noted that various other human parts of the actors can be seen and there's also reportedly another scene where a man wearing a hat and a coat can be spotted in the background.

Suddenly that Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones is no longer the bad guy.

The re-edited version is set to replace the current version in cinemas soon so if you want to see the Extra Cursed™️ version, move fast.

And for those looking for some good CGI news about Cats, Jason Derulo told Andy Cohen that they edited his penis out of the film. Guess that was more pressing than the hands, huh?
