Taking to Twitter last night (Sep 14), Chris Evans reacted by tweeting: "Now that I have your attention.... VOTE Nov 3rd!!!" To add to it, he also posted a face palm emoji and a shrugging emoji. Naturally, fans are praising him for using his platform and this moment to encourage his millions of followers to vote, particularly given how important the upcoming US election is.

Chris tweet's come after Mark Ruffalo and his own brother poked fun at him online. Following his initial post, Mark tweeted: ".@ChrisEvans Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See... silver lining." Meanwhile, Scott Evans simply wrote: "Was off social media for the day yesterday. So. What’d I miss?"

Jamie Lee Curtis also joined in by responding to Chris' tweet saying: "My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!"

Chris has since addressed the incident in an interview with Tamron Hall. He said: "It was an interesting weekend full of lessons learned. A lot of teachable moments. Things happen. It was pretty embarrassing. You've got to role with the punches. I will say I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support."

Anyway, jokes aside, as Chris said... vote!
