Horror icon Chucky starts beef with rising star M3GAN following viral trailer

A new celebrity feud is upon us. Horror icon Chucky and rising star M3GAN are fighting over who is the best horror film doll.

On Wednesday (Oct 12), Universal Pictures released the trailer for a brand new horror movie named M3GAN and it broke the internet. The film is about a robot doll named M3GAN who turns on its creator and everyone is obsessed with M3GAN. She may be deadly but, from her hilarious quips to her Drag Race-worthy dancing, M3GAN has already become a horror icon.

M3GAN has so far drawn comparisons to horror legends like Annabelle and now the G.O.A.T. Chucky has entered the chat.

In and amongst the many M3GAN memes that are currently going viral online, some horror fans have begun suggesting that M3GAN could be the greatest doll villain of all time. Noticing the conversation and the sudden furore surrounding M3GAN, the official Chucky account has now retweeted M3GAN's trailer with the caption: "everybody's tryna be me".

Chucky's tweet has currently racked up over 400,000 likes and it's even caught M3GAN's attention. Responding to Chucky, the official M3GAN account tweeted: "u know u that doll when u cause all this conversation", alongside a gif of her sassily removing her glasses.

A horror fan also replied to Chucky with a clip of M3GAN dancing and the tweet: "call me when you can do this". Chucky then clapped back with a gif of Chucky dancing and the caption: "tell her to call me when she can do this."

Drag star Kandy Muse also defended Chucky by tweeting: "I don’t think it’s cool that y’all are disrespecting my bitch Chuky because some new bitch named Megan came out of no where and did a cartwheel, absolutely not fuck that bitch!"

However, M3GAN already has famous fans including Megan Thee Stallion. After the trailer dropped, the rapper tweeted: "Not being biased but I think they made this movie for me. I will be the THEE FIRST in line to see M3GAN !!!"

She then added: "Annabelle bitch your OVER".
