Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart address break up rumours with matching Instagram posts

Cole and Lili both posted images from their recent interview with W Magazine and slammed the break up rumours.
Bughead stans, concerned citizens and people of the internet who are obsessed with the love lives of celebrities: we bring news about the latest rumoured break up between Riverdale stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart.
This past week, Cole and Lili have been the subject of multiple stories from "sources" who claimed the pair had split up after two years of dating, following reports out of San Diego Comic-Con.
Not a single comment had come from Cole or Lili themselves, but now, the pair have just addressed those rumours on Instagram head on... with two of the most fire captions of all time.
Both Lili and Cole shared an image of their recent W Magazine cover shoot where they're both posing as glamorous post-apocalyptic vampire people.
In Cole's caption, he wrote: "UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult."
Lili posted the same image with a caption reading: "BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit."
Make of those comments what you will.
Cole limited his Instagram comments earlier this week but Lili's are still open for business. Camila Mendes, Casey Cott, Keke Palmer and Tommy Dorfman all took to the comment section to applaud Lili's caption and their cover shoot.
In their joint interview with W Magazine, Cole and Lili also explained why they wanted to be interviewed separately.
“We’re not fighting with the idea that people group us together, but we are paired up a lot,” Lili said. “We’re acknowledging that we’re in a relationship, but it’s a small part of who we are as people. We want our own separate identities.”
Cole then offered a similar stance on the reasoning behind it: “Lili is an incredibly talented individual who speaks for herself and deserves her own voice box in every single way,” he said. “That alone is justification enough for me to do it like this. I don’t think we’re weaving two different narratives here.”
The interviewer did acknowledge the recent break up reports but did not include any confirmation from either Cole or Lili about their current relationship status.
