Dead To Me Season 3 has been confirmed by Netflix, but it will be the last instalment of the dark comedy show, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.

Calling all Jen and Judy stans, because Dead To Me has officially been renewed by Netflix for its third and final season.

The dark comedy, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, piloted back in 2019, before stealing the hearts of fans and returning for season 2 during May this year. But frankly, we can't get enough, and following the cliffhanger ending following that car crash, we're more than ready for the last instalment that hopefully gives us closure on just where the troubled duo end up.

Will the pair survive the crash? Will Judy give her relationship with Michelle another shot? Will Charlie finally stop being an a**hole?

We have so many questions.

Although this will be the last edition of the Dead To Me story, which follows the most unlikely of friendships after Jen and Judy meet at a bereavement support group (unbeknownst to Jen that Judy killed her husband in a hit and run), there's more set to happen from the masterminds behind the show. With the renewal, Netflix also announced that it has inked a multi-year deal with series creator Liz Feldman for other projects once it's complete.

“From start to finish, ‘Dead To Me’ is exactly the show I wanted to make,” Feldman said of the show. “And it’s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human. I’ll be forever indebted to my partners in crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda, and our brilliantly talented writers, cast and crew. I am beyond grateful to Netflix for supporting ‘Dead To Me’ from day one, and I’m thrilled to continue our collaboration.”

Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated lead, Christina Applegate, has already tweeted adding that this season will be the "best way to tie up the story of these two women" and that they'll be getting back to work "as soon as it is safe to do so."

The first season of Dead to Me was rated as the fourth most-streamed show for the streaming giant, and it's safe to say, we cannot wait for its return. Even if it's only been two months since the last season.
