Dear Disney, you up for it? 'Cause we are!
Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that Frozen 2, the sequel to - lol, you guessed it - Frozen was announced sometime last year and fans have recently been campaigning for Disney to include a pretty huge LGBT storyline.

Twitter user Alexis Isabel created the hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfriend at the beginning of May. After a few days, the conversation had been blown wide open, with supporters from all over the world piling even more pressure on Disney to deliver the goods.
I hope Disney makes Elsa a lesbian princess imagine how iconic that would be

Alexis wrote a really great essay for MTV about why she started the hashtag, where she explains that "many in the LGBT community view this movie as a metaphor for the experience of coming out and accepting who you are." The thought of having strong and independent Elsa ultimately ending up in a classic Disney boy-girl love story didn't sit well with her or her followers.
And when it went viral, Twitter was soooo down for it.
Love is an open door. That door should be open to everyone, not just straight people. #GiveElsaAGirlfriend @Disney @DisneyPixar

Frozen director Chris Buck already dropped a few hints on what might happen in Frozen 2. “We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with. I think we’re very aware of what is happening in society.” he told MTV News.
