Disney+ is coming in 2019.

Tom Hiddleston will return as Loki for a new Marvel TV series, which will be dropping on Disney's new streaming service titled Disney+. Disney Chairman Bob Iger broke the news last night following rumours shows on Loki or Scarlet Witch and Vision were in the pipeline.

Now, if you've even been anywhere near a cinema in the last decade chances are you're just as obsessed with the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we are. So, you'll probably know Loki was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War... We're not sure where the new series will fit in Marvel's tricky timeline, but with another Avengers movie on the way, it could really be anytime.

We've got a little bit of a wait on our hands for this one, though.

The series and the streaming service don't actually have release dates yet... booo! Disney+ will launch in "late" 2019 and rival streaming heavyweights Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. And after Netflix cancelled Iron Fist and Luke Cage this is the Marvel tea us stans needed.

Other shows coming to Disney+ include Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. New stories set in the worlds of Disney Pixar’s Monsters Inc. and Disney Channel’s High School Musical are also coming to the platform. Now, we just wait...
