Disney+ is available in the UK now, and with the regular price being £59.99 per year, there's currently an offer on so users can get six months for free.

Disney+ has officially launched in the UK, and if you need us for the rest of the year, we'll be firmly in front of the TV watching re-runs of Disney Channel classics, because now the platform is offering a free 6 month trial.

The platform including classic movies, TV shows and brand new originals and remakes launched today (24th March), and usually costs £5.99 per month or £59.99 for the year - but if you're an O2 customer, it's your lucky day.

Those that are both new and upgrading pay monthly customers with the UK network can get six months of streaming free with their plan, after it was recently announced that O2 would be the exclusive mobile distributor for the service.

And even if you're not planning an upgrade any time soon, existing O2 customers will be able to get £2 per month knocked off a Disney+ subscription, making it just £3.99 to stream hundreds of shows and movies from your iPhone, tablet, Smart TV, streaming stick and games consoles.

If you're not on O2 and don't plan on joining anytime soon, you can still test the Disney waters as the platform itself offers a 7-day free trial before you decide whether you want to sign up or not. With over 600 episodes of The Simpsons and all of the Marvel movies on offer, we can't imagine you'll be cancelling though...

Other shows available include some major Disney Channel nostalgia in the form of The Suite Life and Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as live-action remakes of our favourite classic movies, including Lady and the Tramp - which is available on the platform from launch day.

You'll also be able to watch all of the animated classics, as well as originals, including The Mandalorian - a Star Wars spin-off series that has already been out in the US for a few months and High School Musical: the series.

In total there's over 7,500 TV show episodes and 500 movies across all of the Disney brands including Disney itself, Pixar, Marvel, and National Geographic, so there's no danger of getting bored anytime soon.

Each subscription package allows you to watch on four screens at any one time, unlimited downloads (on a maximum of 10 devices) and the option to create seven profiles. In the US, Disney are currently running a promotion where you can gift a year of Disney+ to one of your friends - but no UK option for this has been announced yet.

If you don't hear from us - assume we're rewatching Good Luck, Charlie...
