Dove Cameron also told Liv and Maddie fans that Liv was bisexual.

It's official. Dove Cameron has just revealed that Maddie from Liv and Maddie was "definitely gay" and that Liv was bisexual.

Dove Cameron first rose to fame after playing the lead roles of twins, Liv and Maddie, in the popular Disney Channel show of the same name. Liv was an actress who loved all things stereotypically girly and Maddie was your classic TV tomboy with a talent for sports. Ever since the show first debuted, fans have speculated about the sexuality of both beloved characters.

Taking to Twitter (Oct 7), Dove, who is openly bisexual, poked fun at herself with a meme. A fan had tweeted an image from Taron Egerton and Richard Madden's Rocket Man Carpool Karaoke in which Taron is dressed in an extravagant Elton outfit and Richard is dressed in black. The fan said that Taron was Liv and Richard was Maddie. If you know, you know.

Liv retweeted them writing: "me when i date a man / me when i date a woman". Then when a fan replied back to Dove: "Still not convinced liv was straight", Dove tweeted: "maddie was definitely gay". A fan then responded: "okay but LIV was a LESBIAN" and Dove corrected them by writing: "liv was bi". Iconic.

Dove then touched on more of her characters. One person tweeted: "we stan you for confirming that all your characters are gay (cof cof mal cof cof)" and Dove tweeted "mal is pan". Mal is, of course, Maleficent's daughter, who Dove played in Descendants.

Liv also stated that her character Ruby from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was "asexual".

We have no choice but to stan.
