"It is what it is, dude. I love the kid."

Doesn't it feel like Josh Peck's wedding drama was approximately 300 years ago? We've experienced the full spectrum of emotions that one can feel for two 2000s nostalgia acts, and now we finally have some character progression.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Drake Bell admitted that he definitely took things too far and probably should have texted Josh about his hurt feelings.

"Yeah, I said the ties are cut or whatever, but I should have just texted that to him, you know," he told ET. "I was just being cranky."

In addition to his crankiness revelation, Drake says that he and Josh have since patched things up, referring to his former co-star as his "brother" multiple times. "It is what it is, dude. I love the kid."

Unfortunately, Drake also believes the fan hate against Josh all got a bit much. "I was more surprised at how the fans went after Josh. That bummed me out because I was reading the comments and thinking, 'Wait a minute, you know, I can say it but you can't!' I was like wanting to defend Josh, be like 'Whoa, easy guys, easy. This is between us.'"

After the solid month of drama that came out of Drake's deleted tweets, we're hoping fans who sent Josh mean messages realise that they went a bit overboard with the hate.

So, there you have it. Drake and Josh have buried the hatchet. Maybe they're even friends again. As for a reunion? Drake says he's up for it at any point, we just have to get Josh on board. After the post-honeymoon hell some fans put Josh through, I wouldn't be surprised if you all ended up waiting another 30 years for that reunion episode.
