When does Elite season 3 come out? Netflix release teaser trailer starring new cast members.

The wait is nearly over. Netflix have confirmed that Elite season 3 is coming out in less than a month... on March 13th, 2020.

As soon as Elite debuted on Netflix in 2018, it became an international success. The hit Spanish drama is the cross between How to Get Away with Murder, Gossip Girl and Big Little Lies, we never knew we needed. It's dramatic, it's sexy and we are completely addicted to it. Season 1 is about the murder of Marina and season 2 focuses on the disappearance of Samuel.

Naturally, fans are dying to know what happens next. Will Polo be punished for his crimes? Will Nano get justice? Will there be a new mystery? Thankfully, we'll find out in a matter of weeks. Netflix have revealed the season 3 release date with a teaser trailer featuring the original cast alongside some brand new characters.

Taking to Twitter today (Feb 18), Netflix tweeted: "The kids are coming... Elite Season 3 premieres March 13", alongside the first teaser trailer for season 3. The video stars Lu (Danna Paola), Carla (Ester Expósito), Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), Rebeca (Claudia Salas), Nadia (Mina El Hammani), Omar (Omar Shana), Ander (Arón Piper), Cayetana (Georgina Amorós), Valerio (Jorge López), Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) and Polo (Álvaro Rico) crying.

Season 1 main character Christian (Miguel Herrán) doesn't appear in the teaser, so it sadly looks like he's officially left the series following his brief appearance in season 2.

The teaser also features new Las Encinas students Malick (Leïti Sène) and Yeray (Sergio Momo). It's currently unclear how they'll fit into the plot of season 3 but we imagine they will become central to the storyline just like Rebeca, Cayetana and Valerio did in season 3.

Last month, Fuera de Series reported that Elite season 3 will be the final season with the main cast and season 4 will have a whole new cast and mystery similar to the hit British series Skins. In other words, this could be the last time we see the original cast.

What do you think? Are you excited for season 3?
