Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke let slip details about how Dany meets Jon Snow's little sisters, Arya and Sansa, and it's beautiful.

After years of travelling the Seven Kingdoms and building up her army, Daenerys finally met the other contenders for the Iron Throne in season 7 of Game of Thrones.

As you'll remember, Dany went beyond the Wall with Jon in season 7 and ended up facing off against the White Walkers. At the end of the season, Jon and Dany head back to Winterfell on a boat and are now getting it on - which is hella awkward, because she's actually his aunt.

As we see in the trailer, Dany will arrive at Winterfell in season 8 and while nothing beats Cersei's resting bitch face, we're all waiting with bated breath to see how Jon Snow's little sisters react to the Mother of Dragons.

Emilia Clarke has now revealed that Sansa and Arya Stark's reaction to her might not be what we all thought it was going to be...

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke let slip on what goes down when Daenerys meets Arya and Sansa - and it sounds beautiful.

Emilia told Entertainment Weekly: "I like to think that it’s like Meet the Parents. It’s like: ‘I hope they like me. [Jon Snow]’s wicked. It’s a real good thing we got going on. He’s the final piece. We’re destined for greatness and world domination is a breath away.’

"And so I need to be like: ‘Can I braid your hair, Sansa? Little Arya, come over here, let’s play some cricket.’ So there’s that. And then, very, very quickly, it’s like: ‘Wait, is it just me, or do they hate me?’"

Literally. Cannot. Wait. It's no surprise that the reception to Dany might be a little bit... frosty.

Sansa never wanted Jon to leave Winterfell in the first place (though she was pretty chuffed when he left her in charge), so we can only guess that the red-head will be hostile towards Dany.

As Arya was always Jon's favourite, we're also guessing she's going to be a little less standoffish. But as we've not even seen her reunion with Jon, who the fuck cares how she deals with Dany? Amirite??

The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones drops in the US on Sunday, 14th April. UK viewers can watch it on Monday night on Sky Atlantic from 9pm, or stream the latest episode on NOW TV.
