YES, FINN! GET THAT MOVIE MONEYYYYYYY!

Over the summer of 2017, Finn Wolfhard went from Stranger Things' sassy little Mike Wheeler to full blown foul-mouthed savage Richie Tozier in the highest grossing horror film of all time, IT. The success of the film, and the stand out performance that Finn gave has obviously made an impact because he's just been cast in another HUGE new movie.

Finn will be starring in the film adaptation of Donna Tartt's novel The Goldfinch opposite Ansel Elgort and queen of TV, Sarah Paulson where he'll play the role of Ukranian student Young Boris.

Elgort will play the lead role of Theo, who survives a terrorist bombing in an art museum that kills his mother. He meets and bonds with Finn's Boris when they realise they've both lost their mothers, but older Boris (Aneurin Barnard) ends up being a bad influence on Theo by introducing him to drugs and alcohol.

The Goldfinch is scheduled for release on October 11, 2019. If you can't wait that long, Finn's also working on two other movies, Dog Days with Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens and The Turning, a horror film starring Mackenzie Davis from Black Mirror's 'San Junipero', both scheduled for release in 2018.

In the meantime, we're looking forward to a collab between Finn's band Calpurnia and Ansolo himself.
