Jason Earles played Miley Stewarts's teen brother Jackson in Hannah Montana and people can't get over how old he really is.
Hannah Montana fans are only just realising that Jason Earles and John Cena are the same age and, honestly, sweet niblets!
It's no secret that Hannah Montana is one of the most popular Disney shows of all time. As soon as it first aired in 2006, fans couldn't get enough of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) and her iconic popstar alter-ego. People also instantly fell in love with her family. The show wouldn't be the same without Miley's dad Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus) and her brother Jackson (Jason Earles).

However, what people may not know is that Jason was much older than Jackson irl. In fact, he's as old as John Cena.

Jason Earles and John Cena are both 43-years-old. Jason was born on April 26, 1977 and John was born on April 23, 1977. In other words, John is just three days older than Jason despite appearing much older than him. Jason started playing the role of Jackson in 2006, which means that he was 29 years old when he was acting the part of a 15-year-old on-screen.
Of course, it's not uncommon for adults to play teenagers on screen. However, what makes the Jason and John connection particularly is that John actually appeared in an episode of Hannah Montana opposite Jackson and he played himself in it. On Sunday (May 24), @y_usraa tweeted about Jason and John being the same age and it immediately went viral.
Yusraa tweeted: "If you want to have your mind blown: John Cena and Jackson from Hannah Montana are the exact same age" alongside photos of them together and the tweet has since been favourited over 400,000 times. People can't believe that Jason and John were born in the same year.

Perhaps what's even wilder is that Miley Cyrus and Miley Stewart were both 13 when the first series of Hannah Montana was filmed and there were only supposed to be two years between Miley and Jason, despite there being 16 years between them in real life. Regardless, we need to watch Hannah Montana again with this knowledge.
