It's safe to say that Avengers: Infinity War is undoubtably the film of the year. We know, we know, we've only just made it to May and the iconic Black Panther also exists but the box office, the internet and the memes are all pointing towards the number one spot.
At time of publication, Infinity War has already amassed over $800m at the global box office and has spawned aproximately 75,000 new memes. Unfortunately, Infinity War's *best* meme came from the most heartbreaking scene at the end of the film. And it's also a MASSIVE spoiler so if you haven't seen the film, turn away now. No memes for you.
The hilarious meme was inspired by THAT scene in the film - you know which one we're talking about. Shall we remind you again? SO YOU CAN RELIVE IT? Alright then.... As Thanos snaps his fingers while wearing his stone encrusted gauntlet, he vanishes. And then, one by one, the Avengers start disintegrating into thin air. First to go is Bucky, who is swiftly followed by the likes of Groot, the Scarlet Witch, Mantis, Drax, Star-Lord, Black Panther to name a few. But the most heartbreaking disintegration comes from ya boi Peter Parker. Just before he dies, he tells Tony that he doesn't "feel so good" and that doesn't "wanna go".
And in that moment, that heartfelt, emotional, devastating moment, the funniest meme of the year was born. Here are some of the best examples at Peter Parker's expense:
