People Want Ariana Grande To Be In 'The Little Mermaid' Live Action Movie
3 August 2018, 17:35
Not gonna lie, it's a mood.
The planned Little Mermaid live action remake doesn't have a release date, trailers, or official cast confirmation, but fans already have an idea of who they want to see in the lead role.
Ariel has a special place in the Disney princess line-up and a fan made concept trailer for the live action remake has people hoping begging for Ariana Grande to play the mermaid.
We can't stress enough that this is a fan made teaser but it looks so good that fans are getting HYPE for Ariana Grande to fill the role.
Bitch I just saw a fake trailer for the little mermaid but Ariana grande is the little mermaid and I am not lying I would forreal love that— Stephanie (@swampdemonn) August 2, 2018
IF @ArianaGrande is not Ariel in the live action little mermaid...that shit better not even make it to the big screen.— LIL' BIT (@aripunzell) August 3, 2018
Whoever takes me on a date in 2019 to see ARIANA GRANDE play Ariel in The Little Mermaid😍— reese (@reese_hartsaugh) August 2, 2018
good luck Charlie
Ariana as Ariel is a whole entire mood. Pass it on.
People have actually wanted this to happen for a while.
ariana grande should play little mermaid— lmao (@lmaoHFsucks) April 19, 2015
People have been conceptualising Ari in this role for a while and it's pretty compelling. Plus Ari and Ariel? It was meant to be.
First of all, she has THE VOICE for it.

You. Better. Sing. Girl!
And we already know she looks good as a red head.
In addition to the fan casting of Ariana Grande as Ariel, the teaser "trailer" by YouTube user Tommy Ross places Henry Cavill in the role of Prince Eric which is also a FANTASTIC concept.
An additional teaser "trailer" by the same account casts Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Queen Latifah in the film as well.
Will Ariana Grande play Ariel in The Little Mermaid?
Never say never, but right now it doesn't look likely. Ariana's Sweetener drops in August 2018, which means she will likely embark on a world tour shortly after.
The only thing we really know about the live action remake is that Lin Manuel-Miranda is doing the music for it, but not much else.
If the film's producers happen to see Tommy Ross' concept trailer, though, we're hoping begging that they call Ariana's people ASAP because she would be perfect.
