Alamo Drafthouse's clown only screenings are back for It: Chapter Two and we're already terrified.

It: Chapter Two hits theatres in September and if you thought Pennywise was terrifying in It, something tells us that the story is about get even scarier in the sequel. Since It made box office waves back in 2017, our fear of clowns has been thoroughly renewed. You can bet we'll be steering clear of Alamo Drafthouse's "clown only" screenings of the film – but that doesn't mean you should.

Alamo Drafthouse is bringing back clown only screenings of It for the upcoming sequel. The theatre chain held similar screenings back in 2017 and they've announced their return via their website.

"We're celebrating the second chapter of Stephen King's magnum opus with a nightmare-fuelling Clown-only screening of IT CHAPTER TWO," the website reads. "Please come dressed as a clown – the wig, the makeup, the oversized pants and suspenders, the blood-curdling makeup – and sit through this coulrophobia-inducing fright fest with a theater full of fellow... clowns."

Nightmare fuel, indeed.
