Deadline reports that Grazer, who played Eddie in the Stephen King adaption, will appear in the comic book movie alongside Zachary Levi, who plays the title role, and Asher Angel, who will portray Billy Batson, "the teen who is able to transform into an adult superhero by uttering the phrase 'Shazam'."

Jack meanwhile will play Freddy, Batson’s best friend and the only other person who knows the truth about Shazam.

Aside from IT, Grazer was most recently seen in CBS sitcom Me Myself & I alongside Bobby Monihan of SNL-fame, which was cancelled recently. He'll next be seen in the movie Beautiful Boy with Steve Carell and will, of course, be reuniting with The Losers Club for IT: Chapter Two which begins filming early next year ahead of a 2019 release.
