Looks like The Joker was played at his own game, xoxo.

It's been a few weeks since Suicide Squad finally dropped and the backlash against Jared Leto's controversial Joker is still not dying down. He's been criticised by the various writers and directors over his unconventional method acting skills, he's been left out of almost EVERY Suicide Squad selfie by the rest of the cast and now he's upset that he only got seven minutes of screen time.

In fact, the sassy blue-eyed Prince claimed that there was enough footage on the cutting room floor to make a stand alone Joker movie. (Hands up if you low-key want that to drop in cinemas soon.)

But here's where it all gets a little bit juicy! In a video from Thirty Seconds To Mars' summer camp, Leto reportedly spilled the scalding tea on the production company that hired him to play the role. The video was soon taken down from tumblr but not before a short breakdown of the interview was then posted to a Jared Leto fan page. Here's what he said:

"[Leto expressed he was] feeling sort of tricked into being a part of something that had been pitched to him very differently; thinking it would've been more artistic than what it became; feeling overwhelmed by the hate regarding the look and choices."

Jared Leto, allegedly

According to the tumblr, he also revealed that Warner Bros. had made him sign a contract that forbade him from taking part in extreme sporting activities such as rock climbing and probably something crazier like base jumping or free diving with great white sharks knowing Jared.

His tongue in cheek response to that?

Oop!

Well, there you have it! All of this info has come straight from Tumblr, so make of that what you will. One thing we are sure about though? That damn tie-dye shirt and star hat combo. Yaaas Jared! Summer camp realness all day every day!
