This is not on...

Not a day goes by without a Kardashians news story. As one of the most famous families in the world, the reality tv stars are always shocking us or going viral because of something. In the past few weeks alone, Kim has broken the internet with a new skin necklace, Kourtney has been turned into a hilarious meme and everyone has been tweeting about Kylie's massive house. The Kardashian/Jenner empire is alive and well.

However, alongside all of their huge success, Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall are prone to a bit of controversy. From 'offensive' weight loss comments to accusations of plagiarism, the celebrity clan are never too far away from a scandal. And it's this latest revelation about the multi million dollar dynasty that's causing backlash. Apparently the Kardashians do not pay their interns.

Come again? Recent evidence has surfaced that suggests that the Kardashians and Jenners don't give their interns financial compensation. A brand new job call for interns for Jenner Communications (one of Kris' companies) is doing the rounds on social media atm and it states that it's a "Part Time Unpaid Internship" in it. If you visit www.entertainmentcareers.net, you can even apply for it.

It then goes on to list exactly what the position entails: "errands local & city, organising in home, gift wrapping, helping with kids toys, motorised cars etc." So essentially it's a glorified PA position without the prestige or the pay cheque. It also lists that it's essential for the applicant to be "enrolled at school as a student" and "have a car". In other words, it's very elitist.

Check out the full job call here.

Unsurprisingly, fans and the general public alike are not impressed with the listing. Few people can actually afford to take on unpaid internships and, while they are common, it doesn't make them any less wrong. Interns work hard and deserve to be paid. Also, considering how much money the Kardashians make, it's easy to see why the news has sparked outrage.

Here are just a few of the reactions.

As it stands the Kardashians/Jenners are yet to respond to the backlash and the advert is still up.
