Based on Rick Remender's graphic novels of the same name, Deadly Class follows young killers in training at a school for elite assassins.

Per the series description: "Deadly Class follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while navigating a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal." Deadly Class is "set against the backdrop of late 80s counter culture".

The new show sees The Russo brothers (Avengers: Infinity War) at the helm as executive producers and promises a "coming of age story like you've never seen."

As for Lana Condor's character, Saya, the comics portray her as a skilled fighter. She also rides a sick looking bike in the series. Speaking at San Diego Comic Con, Lana said of her character, "Saya is so badss and so incredible and I'm beyond thrilled to play her."

Lana confirmed via Twitter that she'd recently had her first official shoot day for Deadly Class. We're officially on the edge of our seats waiting for the show and 2019 can't come fast enough.
