The new Little Women movie posters are being savagely roasted by the internet

The 'Little Women' movie will be released on 26 December 2019.
It's safe to say that everyone is expecting big things from the upcoming Little Women movie. Based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868 and 1869 two-volume novel, Little Women tells the story of the four March sisters as they try and navigate the world in the Civil War era.

With some huge names on board, including Timothée Chalamet (Theodore "Laurie" Laurence), Saoirse Ronan (Jo March), Emma Watson (Meg March) and Florence Pugh (Amy March), the release of the Little Women trailer back in August only added to the hype.
Well, the fans haven't kept that energy now the film's promotional posters have just been released, and they're being called "hideous". Yikes.
Basically, all of the main actors got their own separate posters, as well as one featuring them all. In the main poster, Timothée's character Laurie in the centre and Saoirse's character Jo is blown up big on the left side.
The biggest gripe people appear to have is that it looks kind of amateur, not in keeping with the premise of the film. Another argument is that Timothée takes centre stage, even though the movie is all about the women.
Like, is it supposed to look like a '00s romcom?
