OH NO :(
If you follow Riverdale's Madelaine Petsch on social media, you may recall her tweeting about an unfortunate incident where she accidentally revealed her own phone number in a YouTube video.
Only I would accidentally leak my own phone number. 🤷♀️ smdh. I guess it’s just a good reason to start fresh and get a new one <—(trying to see the positive side behind all this extra work I’ve given myself)— Madelaine Petsch (@madelainepetsch) May 23, 2018
If you're not already in the know, Madelaine is a certified YouTuber who regularly uploads vlogs and fun challenges with her friends.
In one recent video, Madelaine was filling fans in on a Postmates (food delivery service) order and showed the camera her phone screen without realising her number flashed up on the screen as well.
In an interview for her boyfriend Travis Mills' Beats 1 show, Madelaine revealed that the moment was actually a huge deal for her and gave her a legit panic attack.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I got a lot of phone calls that day and then I changed my number," she joked in the interview.
Travis asked what was going through her mind when she realised what had happened and Madelaine revealed that it actually made her pretty emotional in the moment.
"I have really bad anxiety when people text me and call me, just people I know. So, when random numbers were calling me I had an anxiety attack and started crying on my bed. And, like, didn't even do my phone interview that I was supposed to do. I just shut down for, like, a full 30 minutes."
Judging from the lighthearted tone of the interview, Madelaine can laugh about the situation now, but we bet she will be double, triple, and quadruple checking every video she uploads from now until the end of time.
