Netflix just added a new feature and it's "annoying AF"

"Hey @netflix, that 'watch this scene again' pop-up in the middle of a movie is garbage and you should be ashamed of yourselves."
If, like us, you're obsessed with binge watching Netflix shows (we've really got to get our Princess Diaries views in before January) then you might have noticed something different. The streaming service has been testing out a new feature that allows you to instantly replay your favourite scenes. That means we'll have Bo Larson's Dumplin' scenes on constant loop then...
The feature is just in the test stage at the moment so not everyone has it, but if you're one of the lucky few, you might have seen a little pop-up at the bottom of your screen that reads: "Watch That Scene Again."
"We're trying out a feature which gives Netflix members the ability to rewatch favourite scenes and memorable moments with the click of a button," a Netflix spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times. "Right now we’re just looking to learn from it and may or may not roll it out more broadly in the future."
But how does it even choose which scenes you would like replayed? Well, Netflix didn't answer that. However, people who don't like the update pop-ups do have the opt out of the test in their account settings.
That's a good job too because the new update hasn't gone down with Netflix subscribers.
Hey @netflix, the "show me that scene again" pop up is distracting and annoying af. How do I turn it off? Because I am 100% not cool with it. I'm trying to watch a movie, not a football game. I dont need replays, thanks 🙄

This isn't the first time Netflix has pissed people off this week. Everyone lost their rag when it was revealed that The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement would be leaving the site in January 2019. It's not just the '00s feel-good flick that's going either, dozens of movies will be given the chop in the new year.
