A CONCEPT.

The Kissing Booth was Neflix's surprise hit of the year. Teen audiences fell in love with the romantic comedy which starred Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney. The onscreen chemistry between all three was palpable, but it could have been a completely different dynamic.

Noah Centineo, star of Netflix's Sierra Burgess Is A Loser and To All The Boys I've Loved Before, revealed in a BuzzFeed interview that he actually auditioned for The Kissing Booth.

"I auditioned for the leading role in The Kissing Booth that came out on Netflix, funny enough. I've auditioned for practically everything that's come out. A lot of actors have," he told BuzzFeed.

We're guessing by "leading role", Noah is referring Noah Flynn who is the film's romantic lead opposite Joey King's Elle Evans.

Of course Jacob Elordi did a great job as heartthrob Noah Flynn but we've got to admit, we kind of want to see that audition tape.

It all worked out for the best, though. Noah is set to star in, not one but, TWO huge Netflix films out this summer. And, who knows? If there is a sequel to The Kissing Booth, maybe Noah could play a love rival to to Jacob Elordi's character. Who doesn't enjoy a good love triangle?

Noah Centineo is best known for playing Jesus on Freeform's The Fosters. As he mentioned in the BuzzFeed article, he auditioned for a lot of different projects, so we're not surprised that he landed roles in two Netflix productions.
