Noah Centineo is me attempting trying to fill up my word count with something that sounds inspirational.

It's been a big couple of years for Noah Centineo, hasn't it? After becoming the internet's boyfriend following the release of To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and then following that up with The Perfect Date and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser, Noah has well and truly secured that Netflix bag.

In other news, he's recently shaved his hair off, dyed his beard blonde, made it Instagram official with his girlfriend Alexis Ren and injured his knee. He also became a People's Choice Award winner last weekend after picking up the award for Favourite Comedy Movie Star at the 2019 ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

The Good Trouble actor arrived at the show on crutches and hobbled up to the stage to accept his award. But that long hobble wasn't the most awkward moment of Noah's night... his 'cringeworthy' acceptance speech has now it's been made into a meme.

"I guess I'm funny. I didn't know that," Noah said as he opened his speech. He then went on to thank Netflix, and the cast of crew before dropping some heartfelt thanks to the fans.

"Thank you everyone at home - you are the reason I’m on this stage, you are the reason I get to do what I am passionate about. You are the reason that I have a platform that I can help hopefully make the world a bit of a better place."

But it was his closer that left fans confused: "It matters not what you’ve done but what you do with what you’ve done for others, thank you."

WHAT?

Noah hasn't simplified the meaning behind his poetic statement yet. But what it seems he's trying to get at is the idea that if you've achieved something that puts you in a position of power, use that to uplift and help others.

On the night, no one bloody knew what the hell he'd just said and the short clip of Noah's closing statement was quickly turned into a meme.

Anyway, congrats to Noah!
