"I love the fact that you care about me... Just don't follow me."

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months or have been cut off from using your parent's WiFi, you'll have witnessed the incredible rise to fame of the internet's new boyfriend Noah Centineo. The Netflix heartthrob's star has soared following the release of To All The Boys I've Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser, but not without some pretty scary fan encounters, so it seems.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, Noah opened up about all the wild fan experiences he's had to deal with since blowing up. While our humble king is enjoying all the attention, love and appreciation from everyone on the internet, he revealed that he's now being followed by over-enthusiastic fans. In fact, there was one incident in particular that really hit home just how scary this 'new life' has been for him.

"I went to New York for some work and I was at baggage claim and I had my headphones on and I was waiting for my bag to come out," he told Kimmel. "I feel a presence approach me and without even knowing, I had to side step and take my headphones off and there's, like, four people looking at me," he explained. "I was like, 'Hi,' and they were like, 'Hey! Hi! How was your flight?' I said, 'It was good. How was yours?' And they were like, 'No, no, we didn't fly. We were here for you.'"

Uhhhhhh, what?! How did they get into baggage claim if they weren't flying anywhere? Is that allowed? Security? Anyone? That's not where it ends though... it gets worse.

"They somehow knew I was flying into JFK and the time I was going there," he continued. "They parked in the same place where the driver parks and then they walked us to the car and they followed the car to the city."

Thankfully, the driver managed to lose the fans before they arrived at their destination but it sounds like Noah was a little shook at the situation. "It was actually kind of scary," he revealed. "It was the first time you look at something and you think, 'Oh wow, my life is changing.'"

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...

"I went back a second time to the same airport," Centineo explained. "And they were there again. The same people, except they added another person."

Turns out that the fans wanted to apologise for following him and Noah talked it out with them. "I said, 'Look, I love your love. I love the fact that you care about me...Just don't follow me. The rest is cool—just don't follow me.'"

Can everyone just like, chill for a second and let Noah go about his life in peace? And also, please don't follow celebrities back to their apartments. That's not ok.
