The Obamas Might Be Getting Their Own Netflix Shows

The former first couple are set to hit the streaming service in a whole host of new series.
Netflix may be about to sign up yet another HUGE name as former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are currently in talks to produce and appear in their own series of shows for the streaming giant.
The New York Times reports that the couple are in the process of finalizing a deal with the shows aiming to "highlight inspirational stories". Suggested ideas include Barack moderating a panel conversation around issues he dealt with during his presidency while another may see Michelle discuss issues close to her heart such as the healthy eating programs she established while in office.
And while those ideas do sound promising, we at PopBuzz have a few suggestions of our own we'd like to see come to fruition:
Joe And Barack's Gourmet Road Trip
The President and his best mate Biden travel the country to check out all the finest diners, drive-ins and dives the country has to offer. The car banter alone would be more than worth it.
Michelle Obama's Dance Battle Extravaganza
Each week, Michelle takes on a different celeb in a series of dance battles with the winner decided by audience vote. We all know she has the moves.
Keeping Up With The Obamas
Reality fun set at home with the legendary couple. Guest star appearances from the likes of Beyonce and Jay-Z would also be more than welcome.
Sasha And Malia Take Manhattan
A Netflix original movie musical starring the former first daughters as they conquer the big city in style. Titus Burgess will play their sassy best friend.
When Bo Met Bo
Comedian and Netflix mainstay Bo Burnham has an in-depth conversation with former White House dog Bo. Together, they solve all the world's social problems with a wry and often controversial sense of humour.
The West Wing 2
Aaron Sorkin returns to write an alternate history where Obama was able to stay for a third term and Donald Trump is still just the host of a crappy reality show. We all need this one.
Barack recently appeared on Netflix as the first guest on David Letterman's new series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
